We're proud to announce that we have donated a total of £10,000 to good causes during 2016 and have plans in place to donate £4,000 more by the end of March.
We've pledged to give a percentage of our annual profits to charity and this year’s beneficiaries include the Lewis Moody Foundation, which has received a £5,000 donation.
The charity was set up by former Bath Rugby star and England Rugby World Cup winner Lewis Moody to help young people living with a life-threatening illness and their families.
We've also donated money to the Bristol Royal Infirmary’s intensive care unit and are indirectly supporting other fundraising initiatives in aid of a community development in Malawi and the Great Western Air Ambulance.
Individual staff at Epoch are also doing their bit for charity. Epoch PA Helen Witcombe is raising much-needed funds for Children’s Hospice South West by trekking to the Everest base camp next year.
And colleague Tom Annear, who is head of business development and marketing at Epoch, has completed his training with Mentoring Plus to become a volunteer mentor to a vulnerable young person.
Managing partner Barry Newbury said: “We’re proud to be able to support the Lewis Moody Foundation, which does such great work helping people with life-threatening conditions, and some other fantastic organisations. It’s also heartening to see individual members of staff giving up their time to help others.
“One of the great benefits of running a successful firm is that we are in a position to help support people who are battling serious illness and struggling in life.”Back to news
